Creating plans through invite links

Invite links are open links that you can add to emails or your website (or basically anywhere), that allow anyone with the link to create a plan.

Enabling invite links

Invite links are not enabled by default but you can enable them in template settings.

Open a template and click Template settings on the main template page. Then choose the Invite link tab. Toggle Enable invite link and you'll see a unique invite link for this template:

Remember to click Save changes when you're done.

Copy the link and give it to people when you're ready for them to start a plan.

Tip: A common use case is to provide this link in an email as part of other workflows.

How they work

After clicking the link, the participant will need to verify their email address using a one-time code. Once that's done, they'll see a page asking them if they want to join the plan. If they confirm, the plan starts just as it would if you'd manually created a plan for them.

Note: A participant can only use invite links to create one plan of each type. If they try and create a second plan, they'll be directed back to the existing one. This is helpful if participants try to use the same link to return back to a plan after creating one.

Matching CRM records

To enable integration with your CRM, when a template has a CRM associated and a plan is created through an invite link, we'll look for a match in the CRM by email address and link the correct CRM record if we find one.
