Manage a user's role

You can either change a user's role, or promote them to team owner. Either way, to manage users, click your team name at the top left to open the menu, and click Users.

Note: Only managers and the team owner can manage users.

Changing the user's role

Find the user who you need to update, and click Edit (the pencil icon) on the right hand side. Select the user's new role and then finally click Save changes to make the change.

Note: You can upgrade a viewer to a user/manager later, but you can't downgrade a user/manager to a viewer.

Tip: You can select many users at once and then click the Change role button to update roles in bulk.

Transferring ownership of the team

The current team owner can make another user the owner of the team by clicking the Make owner (user with crown) button on the right hand side of the user in the list.

Be careful when doing this as the change will happen immediately after confirming. The current team owner will switch to a manager of the team.
