Collecting personal info

Plans can collect missing personal info before the participant is able to start completing tasks.

This works by configuring the personal info that you require from the owner participant in the template settings, and when the owner first opens the plan, they'll be asked to provide any missing details.

Note: This applies to the owner (main) participant only. An invited participant can provide more personal info if they want to, but we won't ask them. Learn about owner vs. invited participants.

Enabling data collection

You can enable the feature by opening a template, and clicking Template settings on the main template page. Then select Personal info. You'll see a page like this:

By default, you'll see that we ask for the owner participant's name and phone number. You can choose to require more information just by enabling the options you see on screen.

Click Save changes when you're done.

How it looks to the participant

When the owner participant opens the plan, we'll check if there's any details we need. If so, they'll see a page like this:

Once they've filled out the required info, they'll be able to start on the plan.
