Understanding task actions

Each task has an associated 'task action'. The action is what the participant is expected to do to complete the task.

The most basic task action is a simple task. If you choose this task action, the participant only needs to press a button to complete the task (i.e. they just confirm they've done the task).

But we also offer a range of more complex task actions that enable you to have your participants take direct actions in other apps or services your team users, or to collect data from participants such as through forms, photos, or document uploads.

You'll select the task action when you add a task to a plan. Most task actions require some setup, click on the name of the task in a template to open the task for configuration.

Our task actions directory has detailed information and setup guides for each of the task actions we offer.
